We collect your Style Matcher answers to build your capsule, and your email address to send it to you. We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ad trackers, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Style Matcher answers: your occasion, build, measurements, fit preference, taste selections, color choices and budget. We use these to generate your style archetype and capsule.
- Email address: collected when you choose to receive your results. Used to deliver your capsule and, if you opt in, our styling emails.
- Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated data about how the site is used (pages viewed, Style Matcher completion), collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
What we don't collect
We do not ask for or store your name, address, payment details, or photographs. Purchases happen on retailers' sites under their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your personalized capsule.
- To send styling emails you've opted into. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
- To improve our recommendations in aggregate (e.g. which capsule items resonate with which archetypes).
Affiliate links and cookies
Once we join affiliate programs, clicking a retailer link may set a cookie on the retailer's site so the retailer knows the visit came from ProperFit; this is how we plan to earn commissions. Those cookies would be governed by the networks' and retailers' own policies, and we would not receive personal data about your purchases, only anonymous, aggregated commission reports.
Who we share data with
- Email service provider MailerLite, which stores your address and tags derived from your Style Matcher answers (like your archetype) to send your emails.
- Hosting provider Netlify, which serves the site and processes basic, anonymized request logs.
- No one else. We never sell or rent your personal information.
Your rights
Wherever you live, we extend the same rights: you may request a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted entirely. Email admin@properfit.co and we'll act within 30 days. Unsubscribing from email is always one click, no questions asked.
Data retention & security
Style Matcher answers tied to your email are kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit and at rest.
Children
ProperFit is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll note the new date above and, for significant changes affecting your data, notify you by email before they take effect.
