Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

The short version

ProperFit gives free styling suggestions. We're not a store, purchases happen with retailers under their terms, and our recommendations are advice, not a guarantee that everything will fit perfectly. Be decent, don't scrape or copy the service, and we'll get along fine.

What ProperFit is

ProperFit is a free styling tool. You answer questions about your build, taste and budget; we suggest a style profile and a set of clothing items available from third-party retailers. Using the service means you accept these terms.

What ProperFit is not

Affiliate relationships

Once our affiliate partnerships are in place, links to retailers may earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

The ProperFit name, logo, illustration style, and all content we create are ours. Retailer and brand names belong to their respective owners; their appearance here doesn't imply endorsement of ProperFit.

Your account and data

There are no accounts in the beta. Email and answer data are handled per our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Max May Creative is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including purchases made from third-party retailers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or discontinue the service at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

Governing law
